• VMware Certified Professional vSphere

Experience required:

• Solid years of work experience of which 3 – 4 years should be in the ICT sector
• Solid experience required in in Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization
• Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes
• Excellent experience working with vendors and/or 3rd parties

• A good understanding of the vast range of IT operations and Dimension Data service offerings.
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business need.
• Display good levels of client engagement.
• Service orientated individuals who can manage client value whilst maintaining profitable business results.
• Demonstrate operational team management and leadership skills and be able to effectively manage the resources that report to them.
• Good collaboration skills and able to interact professionally.
• Broad understanding of project management principles.

• Computer Science / Information Technology Degree or equivalent together with specialized training in new technologies and legacy systems or equivalent.
• CCNP Security Certified and/or CCNP Wireless Certified
• Minimum: Network Security Analyst – NSE5 Certification
• Project management certification.
• Up to date and relevant ITIL certification.

Experience required:

• Solid years of work experience of which 6 – 8 years should be in the IT sector preferably in Network Security, working with enterprise clients within a large scale (preferably multinational) technology services environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Demonstrable level of relevant experience in a similar role within a related environment.
• Solid previous experience operationally managing a technical team.
• Good experience dealing with clients and managing service levels.
• Solid experience as part of a software or other technical service implementation team.
• Project administration and reporting experience.
