Name of Profile Requirements
ENROLLED NURSE Qualifications requirements:

  • Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing Council, a valid nursing practicing card.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the provision of quality HIV and TB-HIV services.

Additional requirements:

  • Preference will be given to applicants with extensive working experience in the treatment and management of HIV/AIDS.

Desired skills:

  • Ability to maintain professional confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to create a conducive atmosphere for patients, relatives and colleagues.
  • Previous experience with HIV work is preferred.
  • Previous experience in doing HIV-related operational research is an advantage.
  • Qualification in Public Health, Infectious Diseases or similar area will be an added advantage.
  • Preference shall be given to Namibians.
REGISTERED NURSE Qualifications required:

  • A Diploma/Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with proof of registration with HPCNA (i.e., valid practicing card).
  • Qualifications in Public Health Paediatrics, Infectious Diseases, or similar area will be an added advantage.

Required skills:

  • 1 – 2 years of working experience in the provision of quality HIV and TB-HIV services.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to create a conducive environment for patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and statistical software.
  • Experience in HIV and TB/HIV management.
  • Experience in operational research, particularly HIV-related health research.
