CLERK OF WORKS SCM – MINING (C4)

Qualifications

The Ideal Applicant

  • Grade 12 , (20 points over 5 subjects with a E in English, Mathematics and Science) or Equivalent National Senior Certificate
  • Valid Blasting Certificate or Diploma in Surveying or Mining
  • Valid  Code 08/B/BE driver’s license
  • Five (5) years experience, with 3 years preferably in a supervisory capacity, combining planning, scheduling and site construction on major projects as a requirement.
TEACHER (C3) – JUNIOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

Qualifications

Minimum requirements for the position:

  • Applicants must be in possession Junior Primary Teaching Diploma or a relevant degree, specializing in the methodology of Junior Primary Education Gr 0 -3.
  • Preference will be given to teachers with at least two years’ recent experience as a Gr 1 – 3 Teacher (clearly stipulate experience of teaching in specific grades).
  • A working knowledge of School Readiness programmes, ‘Motorics’ as well as Senior Primary exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency and fluency in English is essential.
  • Candidates will be expected to become fully involved in the extra-curricular programmes of the school.
  • Candidates must be computer literate, with the latest deployment of technology in education.
DIESEL MECHANIC (C2) ENGINEERING

Qualifications

The Ideal Applicant:

  • Grade 10 with Mathematics, Science and “E” in English.  AND
  • Pre 1993 – Diesel Mechanic Trade Diploma with N2 Certificate, OR
  • 1992 – 1994 – Level 4 Diesel Mechanic Trade Diploma with 4 theoretical subjects at Level3, OR
  • Post 1994 –Level 3 Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate with a pass in at least 4 theoretical subjects at Level 3
  • The above Qualifications should be NTA accredited.
  • Code 08 Driver’s license.
  • Post apprenticeship two years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic Artisan in the mining industry with knowledge of EMV’s and equipment.
  • Computer literacy.
MULTI-SKILLED OPERATOR (B2) – FIXED TERM CONTRACT / TEMP

Qualifications

The ideal applicant

  • Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects including a E-symbol in English)
  • Code 08 Driver’s license.
  • Vienna Dover Assessment is a pre-requisite.
  • One-year general driving experience and work experience acquired through successful completion of requisite and optional machines and vehicles.
  • Excellent safety awareness and good track record.
  • Current FTC/Temps are encouraged to apply.
Divisional Engineer

  • B.Sc./B-Eng. Degree in Engineering, OR
  • B-Tech Degree in Engineering and registration with Engineering Council of Namibia or equivalent body.
