Education

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in the field of education, lifelong learning, social sciences, or related fields.

Work Experience

Minimum four (4) years of relevant professional experience in programme and/or project implementation in the field of education.
Experience in designing and implementing education policies and strategies at national level.
Experience in programme management, advocacy, resources, and partnership mobilization.

Skills and Competencies

Excellent knowledge of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Education 2030 Framework for Action.
Excellent knowledge of the education system and relevant education issues of Namibia.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to draft clearly and concisely, paying close attention to details and quality of work.
Ability to build, maintain and enhance working relations with national/local authorities, research, TVET and higher education institutions, academia, relevant intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, civil society and other key stakeholders.
Good knowledge of results-based and budget management tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, discretion and maturity of judgement.
